Imam Ali shrine

Shi’ite pilgrims gather to mark the death anniversary of Imam Ali at his shrine in the holy city of Najaf, about 160 km (100 miles) south of Baghdad, July 30, 2013.Imam Ali, the son-in-law of Prophet Mohammad, was wounded in the head during a battle and died after two days in 661 AD in Najaf.

  1. Imam Ali (A.S.) did not die from a wound suffered in battle.
    Imam Ali (A.S.) was dastardly attacked while in prostration during his morning prayers.
    Mr. Ahmed – this is documented in all Sunni & Shia books.
    Please get your facts right!

  2. I was about to make the same statement. Even a single google search would have returned thousand results stating what Kamal mentioned as the real facts about Imam Ali(as) death.
